Rugged
vibration and shock resistant displays
Some of the rugged displays are vibration-resistant up to 6.8 G and can be used excellently under extreme conditions, such as in agriculture and construction. Further applications are in medicine, automation, industry 4.0, public transport and digital signage.
The very rugged rugged displays are available in sizes from 2.4" to 12.3" and can be used at least in the temperature range from -30°C to +80°C. This makes them suitable for challenging environmental conditions and they can be used in extreme heat or cold without any problems.
They often offer high brightness values and all displays have IPS wide angle technology. Thus, they are perfectly readable in bright ambient light and when viewed from the side.

The rugged+ series from KOE offers additional special features
By default, the KOE rugged+ displays come with ZBD (Zero Bright Dot). Some models are already manufactured with LTPS (low temperature polysilicon) technology and therefore have a particularly low power consumption, which enables trouble-free use in mobile devices.
The test criteria of the KOE reliability tests exceed the industry standard by a factor of 2.
The TFT displays can be controlled with our own developed Prisma TFT controllers. In addition, they are also available as completely ready-to-connect industrial kit solutions with all necessary accessories..
Rugged Displays with Touch
For the 7 and 10.2 inch KOE Full-HD TFT displays we have developed exactly fitting 10 finger PCAP touch screens, which can be controlled via I²C or USB. The touch controller is integrated on the flex cable (COF). A PCAP Touch with modern black frame printing is available as well as an Infinite Touch solution: In this case, the matching PCAP touch foil is supplemented for your display with a protective glass individually manufactured according to your wishes. For all other manufacturers we can of course also offer Infinite Touch solutions.
VacuBond Optical Bonding Process
A protective glass can be applied to the display at the customer's request. The High-tech OPTα-GEL® used here additionally increases the vibration and shock resistance of the bonded unit. It also protects the display from dirt and damage caused by harsh operating conditions and makes cleaning easier.
Touch screens can also be optically bonded to the display.
In addition to vibration resistance and wide temperature range, sensitive application areas such as medical, aviation and security often have strict regulations regarding electromagnetic radiation. To meet these requirements, we offer EMI shielded / NVIS TFT displays.
