4mm Protective Glass for AUO 15“ PCAP TFT Display

We already have introduced the 15" AUO TFT display G150XTK01.0 with integrated 5-finger PCAP touch screen to you in early summer. AUO has specified that this display can be used with a 1.8mm protective glass without any negative effects on the touch function. Since this glass thickness is not sufficient for some applications, we have developed our own solution:

Due to the VacuBond® Optical Bonding process and our own touch controller firmware adaptation, we were able to not only release the G150XTK01.0 with a 4mm protective glass but also to increase the number of touch points to 10. With our adjustments, you get a powerful 10-finger touch display which is perfectly protected for use in public areas or industrial applications.


We currently have samples of the G150XTK01.0 on stock. The TFT display offers a resolution of 1024x768 pixels (XGA) and a brightness of 390cd/m². In addition, it features a very wide temperature range of -30 to + 85°C and both the converter for the LED backlight and the USB touch controller is already integrated in the panel.
